Anyone got a really good FAST cold remedy?

I have one hell of a sinus cold and have a 2nd interview tomorrow. Being able to speak normally would be an extreme benefit.

1. I've got my daughter on HEB's generic flu relief right now. I think

it's the same a Thera Flue caplets and it works well enough to keep her going for a few hours. Good luck on your interview.

2. Wasabi

If you have a sinus cold do this...

Go get some painkillers (tylonol, motrin....whatever works for you) and take the 'prescription dose'. For instance Motrin normally says 400 mg. The prescription dose is 800 mg. Let that set in for an hour or two. Once its in play, get out the tube of wasabi (japanese horseradish). It'll hurt less because you took the tylenol, but eat that. AS much as you can, as fast as you can to keep the effect going. Usuallyt his means just a little bit every 20-30 seconds. It'll flush you right out.

7. This one sounds extreme

I was thinking of some horseradish and gefilte fish. I just go tdone with the third bowl of chicken soup.

But you asked for FAST remedies. It's painfull, but it's always worked for me as a temporary way to get totally clear.

3. Drink as much green tea as possible

I had a horrible head cold earlier this winter and it knocked it right out. Good luck on the interview.

4. eucalyptus oil from health food store ...a few drops in in boiling water..

place towel over head and pot and breathe

8. go to the grocery and buy something called..

Airborne.

It's a little tube of alka-seltzer type tablets. They taste disgusting, so I recommend you drop two of them in a small shot of orange juice, grind them up good, then down it with a single gulp.

2 at a once, every 5-6 hours really helped me out.
