Another (tech) rant about Cell-Phone Screamers..

I'm a tech..Computer and an Audio Engineer.
Any other techs out there..I'm using simple terms..so don't flame me.. :)

Ever wonder why on Cd's and tapes, etc, the volume is so even and smooth?
When engineers record a voice or instrument they have in the circuitry (of the sound chain) a tool called a compressor/Limiter.
This enables a singer to sing load or soft and still have about the same volume (gain)going into the recorder. If you didn't you would distort the inputs on the "stuff"

Well, Damnit..Cell phones have the same (type) of circuitry.
You can be heard fine just putting your mouth to the phone and speaking in a low voice..the phone will amplify or "squash" your voice just fine.

SO ALL YOU FUCKERS WHO STAND IN THE FOOD AILSES AND HOLLAR>>>YOU DON"T HAVE TO!!

(sorry..I just "tried" to shop at Publix with 3 people screaming into their phones)

1. Cell phones in stores... don't get me started!

WTF is up with people parking their asses in the middle of aisles and calling up someone to have a detailed 30 minute conversation about what they're about to buy?? I mean, can't they make up their mind before going to the store? Make a list? Something? And yes, they scream into their phones more often than not.

especially grocery stores.
I swear, people used to be able to do their grocery shopping without assistance and now every purchase requires consultation - and these are not even the old people!
