I love the smell of tortillas |
|
It's probably childhood memories or something but I do adore the smell.

1. If you're ever in San Antonio, go to the Alamo Cafe |
|
They give you tortillas instead of bread, and sweetened butter for them. YUMMY!

My mom is against flour tortillas so she kind of turned me off of them. I'll still eat quesadillas and burritos though so i'm not against them. Corn tortillas also have a stronger smell.

7. Flour is good for some things... |
|
...but for enchiladas, and certain types of fillings, corn is an absolute must.

my husband and I make our own flour tortillas, never tried to make corn ones.

11. My wife and I were in Mexico... |
|
and went to visit the ruins of Chichinitza (I can't spell that). Our tour included lunch and the bus stopped at this little hotel/restaurant in the middle of nowhere. There was a woman making corn tortillas that were so effin' good!! My wife and I still talk about them...
