Seriously, I'm not kidding. I have the flu *cough* and it’s all his fault.
I've only caught the flu once before in my life, that was December of 2000. It turned into a nasty lower respiratory infection and I was sick for a month. Now that I think about it, I’ve not been sick since the flu episode in 2000, not even a sniffle... until the elections.
Since the election in Nov I've had insomnia, caught a stomach virus, been to the ER once for a reaction to Tylenol and now I have the flu.
My doctor, who I normally only see once a year for a check up, said I only seem to get sick after a presidential election. I told him, it's only been the past two that have made me sick. :grr:

the Republican Influenza. There you go, you will hopefully feel better in 4 years. Drink plenty of fluid, mostly beer or gin and herbal suppliments. K?

Yep, that was my diagnosis. 4 years and I should be right as rain.
I like your ideas for fluids much better, gin would be a kinder substitute for the Nyquil I was just about to take. :)

14. He also suggested beer! |

Stay away from the Busch beer. The conservatives have been drinking it and look where it got them. LOL.
Sorry, I guess I still have a sense of humor about this.

Have some chicken soup for your progressive soul ;-)
Take care of yourself LoneStar. I do think it possible that all the negative emotions the electoral season has wrought, can bring down your immune system.

Hope you got one, and hope you get feeling better.

I guess my joy over the other 'party' kind of showed. :eyes:
Hey, I'm sick and on med's I don't have to show my usual decorum. :)

Last Thursday afternoon--Inauguration Day--I started feeling tired and weak. I left work early and went home to bed, where I pretty much remained for the next three days. Somehow, it seemed entirely fitting that I got sick on the day of Mini-Me's inaugural.

Sometimes I feel bushwacked, bushed out, and like I have bushy hair! Heck, I'm allergic to Bush. LOL.
Then, I remember that the asshole has no right to control my life and that I'm actually enabling the sucker by getting like that.
If you're seriously having a problem, then maybe you should consider therapy. I'm not saying you're abnormal. I think we all need to see the shrink at some point in life.
I think anybody who believes most to all of what Bush says needs a shrink FOR RESEARCH. I want to find out what goes on in the mind of a person like that. LOL.
Okay, jokes aside. You might want to consider seeing a different type of doctor if you're seriously having this problem.
