This is what I call customer service!
The last month or so I've had a difficult time performing online banking with my credit union. I called them to find out the problem. From what they said their new system was having problems with Macs, but they did set me up temporarily. This happened part of Nov. and Dec. All is well now, bugs worked out.

Today I received a $20.00 gift card from them for any problems this may have caused me personally. What a surprise, guess I'll not leave them for a bank.

2. The operative word is 'credit union'
doubt you would see service like that from a commercial bank.

4. Tell it like it is. A commercial bank would have swore ......
...up and down that the problem just HAD to be with the customer's computer.

2 weeks before Christmas I ordered new checks and they didn't come. I didn't know they had changed companies and they didn't know that the old company wasn't honoring the order. 4 days before Christmas I called the bank to see where the checks were and found out the above. Well they were gonna rush the order I should have them by Christmas eve....big whoop, I had to work 12 hours Christmas eve. I had one check to buy Grocery's gas and prescriptions and a car payment due. I had to use the bank card I had never used before and I was not happy. A full week after Christmas I got my checks a full week after that I got another box with the SAME numbers. Boy was I pissed. I never so much as got am I'm sorry.

5. Don't know if the banks do this,
but if I run out of checks all I do is go to the credit union, they will give me temporary checks to use, not sure of their limit. I usually get 10 since I do not write that many checks. Next time go to your bank, tell them you are out of checks, they should give you some blank ones to use, by blank ones I mean you name or address are not on them, but they do the job.

6. Actually my new bank
printed me temporary check with all my info on them. (Just changed to a local bank from CitiBank.) Also spent an hour or so this morning trying to get the online bill pay working. They were great. Some of the problem was at their end and some at mine. We cleared up their end and then found that my newer browser on my iBook works with their system, but the older browser on the tower doesn't. Everybody went away happy and having learned something. I think I'm gonna like these guys.

Really fast service on getting the real checks, too.
