Am I Destined To Fail?
Edited on Mon Jan-24-05 11:13 PM by Shananigans
In the past two weeks I have started flossing nightly. I have also started using mouthwash with flouride. Both on the advice of my dentist.

I have removed my tongue barbell, started washing my face before I go to bed, drastically reduced my smoking (I used to smoke 2 cigarrettes a day and then when I drink. Now I only smoke when I drink) joined a gym and started eating healthier.

Is this too many good habits at once? Am I destined to fail?

Edited cuz once again, I can't spell tonight!

2. LOL
Depends on how good your motivation and self-control is! I say, good for you, and keep it up! :)

3. Look at it this way
It defines how you define "failure". It's unlikely that you'll keep up with all the good habits but some are bound to stick. If so, look at that as success and try the others later.

4. the answer lies in why you're doing all this..
if it's for you, you can succeed, if it's for someone else, likely not.

5. Always for me...you gotta watch out for the #1.
My dentist inspired the removal of barbell (which I am still debating putting back in), the flossing and mouthwashing. She said, that although I brush daily, my teeth need some more lovin!

As for the diet and excersise, it's time. I'm overweight and not getting any younger here!
