I also decided that it may be my time to "move on" for a while for
I spend too much time here and I have other projects I may also want to complete fairly soon.

3. Was just deciding I may want to take a bit of a "breather" for a while
even if I had to FORCE myself to take one.

4. Well, that's okay
It is just a message board. It is not life.

5. I hear ya, Valerie!
My boyfriend thinks I'm nuts for the time I spend here. I have no actual life beyod DU. And it's been an emotional roller coaster here. But maybe you just need to follow the seasons, take some time to rest and regenerate, like a tree in winter. We'll hope to see you again in the spring. :hi:

6. Maybe my "Valerie5555" intuition was just telling me to get a life and get
some things I wanted to do in before the "other shoe" may drop FOR REAL.

8. Was also feeling kind of "tinfoil hattish" for there's no telling what
Bushie may do, especially to get his war WITH IRAN.

9. Sure
Bush might do something with regard to Iran.

But what does that have to do with your hanging in the DU Lounge?

DU for a while.

13. "Tin foil hattish"
You only feel tinfoil hattish because you know more than all the other people around you about the way things really are in this country. Because there is very little in our culture that affirms (or even acknowledges) everything we read here, AND we're in a kind of intimate relationship with people we only know by completely anonymous screen names, of course we feel "tin foil hattish."

Unfortunately, once you know how things really are, there's no going back. Take the time off to regenerate, but know we're here when you're ready to stop in again.

Next election cycle, maybe.

11. A break is not a bad thing as long as you come back.
I took a hiatus from DU for two months after the election.
