Well, a good way to not miss an opportunity is to spend a little less time on-line.

And definitely work on getting the driver's license. You will have so much freedom once you get it.

I have a friend who has been putting off getting a driver's license for a long time now. Almost everyone I know, myself included, got their license some time between the ages of 16 and 18. She's going to be 26 in about 2 weeks, and she still doesn't have her license. She has a college degree, but she's still living at home with her parents. I think not getting the license has really affected her independence from her parents. Also, she is the youngest in her family (of 4 kids) so her parents haven't been encouraging her to get a license and move out either. I have be noticing that she sounds depressed when I talk to her on the phone (other friends of mine have noticed this too). I hope she gets her life together. The overall point here is get a driver's license so this doesn't happen to you.

I'm not sure why people are so joyous about having an insane number of posts to a forum like this. I'd like to see a nice young guy like him spending his time doing something else (studying, working, socializing in the real world, maybe even sleeping, etc.).

I personally feel I spend too much time here as it is. My reasons are different for being here. I have a young child that I stay at home with, and I don't get to interact with any adults other than my husband because of it. I crave being able to hang out with people like I did in college and high school. He has the freedom to do these things now. John talks about regrets, well, I'm just saying he'll have less regrets if he cuts down on the amount of time he spends here.

I'm not trying to insult John. I wish him the best with his life, and I hope he finds something that he's really passionate about. :)
