Will the average "lesser-of-two-evils" Bush voter start to realize that
a mistake was made when their toddler's "SpongeBob Squarepants" favorite toy is ripped from their hands by one of the fanatics who believe that the election was a mandate to rid the world of gays forever?

I'm not talking the fanatical, lobotomized Bush supporter, I'm talking about the people who were flipping a coin kinda hoping that it would come up Bush/heads. When will they realize what kind of "lunacy" they have invited upon this country?

1. Good question
One would hope that they'll suffer a bit of buyer's remorse over what they've done.

At this point, though, I'm so jaded that I really don't see it happening. I think that those who may regret it would probably never admit it, seeing how strongly both sides feel.

2. Soon--that's why Bush's theme now is
unite around a president, mandate, it has all been decided, the voters have approved of everything I have ever done.

Having made the election a negative, pick the lesser of two evils, Bush now tries to transmogrify the election into approval. Candidates who actually want to accomplish big things as opposed to merely being the office holder don't do that.

3. They may never
It seems to me that people are getting swept up in the madness. They're getting taken in more and more each day, because they're all surrounded by other loons, and they are losing their contact with objective reality.
