What's your favorite cheesy Martial Arts Movie?
I gotta give the nod to "No Retreat, No Surrender."

The plot in a nutshell:

Jason's a martial arts loving teen and Bruce Lee admirer. An evil local protection racket, with the help of Ivan the evil Russian (Jean Claude Van Damme) forces his father's L.A. dojo out of business and the family flees to Seattle.

Luckily though, once Jason's in Seattle the ghost of Bruce Lee appears to him in his garage and teaches him everything he knows. And wouldn't you know it, Ivan gets his comuppance in the end at the hands of Jason and his new skills.

Pure 80's cheese, complete with an evil Ruski. Love it!

Quote:

I have seen many films that would easily be classified as "weird" and "bizarre". I've seen Japanese zombie movies, celebrations of disco from Thailand, Indian gangster musicals, David Lynch films, and Swedish existentialist fare. But none of them, and I mean none of them hold a candle to the sheer nonsensical insanity that fills up every single one of "Fantasy Mission Force"'s 90 some minutes. It easily ranks as the most bizarre movie I've ever seen, so bizarre in fact that I can't even say if I liked it or not. I have no idea how this movie got made, and there's a good chance that it's very existence might negate one or two fundamental laws of nature.

Also read the IMDB reviews.

This movie is so hilarious, and even Jackie Chan has a role in it (they spell his name Jacky...lol).

Abraham Lincoln is in this, and he's the Allied General in WWII (he's kidnapped by Japanese Nazis in Canada).

Get high/drunk/whatever and watch it.
