1. Space Bags!
They really do help if you need to store blankets & pillows.

4. Ok, another WTF is that?
I apparently do not watch enough infomercials. I do, however, need to store some blankets. Should I seek this out?

32. Think of a super big Ziploc bag with a valve in it.
You can put your vacuum hose over the valve and suck the air out. The valve is auto-sealing so it lets air out but not in. Then you open the zipper seal to open the bag.

It really helps compress things down and protect them from moisture, etc.

13. What I want to know is....
On the travel one. Sure, great idea to suck all the air out and pack more clothing than you normally could. Question, how do you get all that stuff shoved back in your suitcase for the trip back home??? This has kept me up nights you know.

29. The travel one is a roll-up bag.
Kind of like a large Ziploc bag - you just roll the air out, then snap it shut. You don't need a vacuum.

30. You need the kind that are really
just very good Glad bags. You put the stuff in and roll it closed forcing the air out instead of using the vacuum type. (Those would be good for storing) When ready to come home you just put them back in and roll them up. The main problem I had with it was that things do wrinkle. Get one of those handy dandy travel irons and you are set.

34. For the travel space bags,
you don't use the vacuum to suck out the air. You roll them really tightly and squeeze the air out yourself. So when you pack to come home, you just do the whole thing over again and everything fits. I have used them for backpacking.

I like those, I have two, one at home and one in the office, for making shakes.

Is it hard to clean?

You're talking about the kits where you match the color and paint the liquid over the tear in the leather? I've always wondered how that worked in real life.

35. YES! I have a leather couch, and cats.
The cats don't exactly SCRATCH it, but they do incidental damage from time to time, when I don't keep their claws clipped regularly. And a scratch on a leather couch totally SHOWS.

I can wash my clothes in the sink if I want to. But thanks to some inventor's handy invention, there are faster and better ways to both wash, dry, and fold clothes.

27. Bare Minerals makeup by Bare Escentuals.
It's fantastic!

The Magic Bullet DOES look great, but I would not use it to make muffins as they do. Their muffin batter was definitely overmixed.

39. Yup, the Bare Minerals stuff is GREAT!
Don't think I'll ever use anything else--I use the foundation/blush/mineral veil they sell on the commercial, as well as the eyeshadows (which are just beyond fantastic).

Don't use their mascara or lip stuff, though (but I've heard their coffee-based lip balm is very, very good).

42. I don't use the mascara or lip stuff either.
For mascara I use either Clinique or good old tried-and-true Cover Girl Professional mascara. For lipstick, I only use MAC. They have the texture and wearability I like, as well as several colors that flatter me. I don't even look around at other lipsticks anymore.

I love the minerals, though! I will never go back to liquid. (I've recently taken to making my own mineral veil - I mix some of my foundation with some cornstarch to get the right color, and the texture is wonderful.)

I have several of the eyeshadows. You have to use so little, it'll be years before I run out. I also use them to wetline when I want a more dramatic look.

You know, the Chef Tony ones. They are the sharpest knives EVER! Quite literally, everyone who's ever been over for dinner who uses the steak knives has commented how good the knives are. So, it's not just me.

I do ALL the slicing and dicing now that i have my Chef Tony knives. My wife likes that.
