It's raining, it's pouring and the old man is snoring |

Welcome to the Valley of the Sun. Love it though, but will pay the price at the next water warning.

1. It's raining in CA too |

I hope it stops. We've had enough. The last storm, we got more rain in a week than we had in the prior 3 years.

The rain's finally stopped here. Still overcast, however.
Did you drink the water yesterday? The water mismanagement in the Valley stuns and amazes me. *sigh*

4. No, I didn't drink the water |

In fact I called the city of Phoenix, they told me to shut off my osmosis system to prevent the clogs in my filter. My water system was useless..... so I paid $$$'s to pay for protection from this? After they told me to do this I wondered if the situation was worse than reported. I was one of the busy shoppers who made a special trip to the store who bought bottled water early afternoon yesterday, few bottles of water left to buy. More rain today? More warnings?
My dogs had bottled water last night in their bowl but they are not drinking it. I wonder why.

8. No doubt they covered up |

I cannot believe that the pumps overflowed and that right before the sediment contamination occurred, the water plant issued a warning! No way! In fact, you know that what really happened was more like it was happening for a day or two before the plant manager realized that this is not an issue that could be resolved or even contained. And THEN they gave a warning....
Supposedly the problem is a matter of sediment, which is not harmful per se but allows a better environment for microbes to grow. Can you trust this info? No.... *sigh*
Dogs are funny! Maybe they're used to the taste of your filtered water????
