I tried to get in, but for some reason they would never give me a password.

And you have to get a new password - your forums password will not work for Demopedia.

9. You need to have a pic on your personal computer..then

go to a picture hosting site..I like www.photobucket.com then go to the picture gallery where your name would appear...that would be a-? then go to the update feature (you need to be logged in...a different password..the same username) then post your pic (I copied and pasted then changed the stuff that was different) and viola...there you are...in all your beauty!

19. Hey Longgrain, I wanted to ask you an unrelated question

How stupid is it to paint a copy of a well known painting?

I say this because I am too poor to buy one so I've been doing my own and I thought I would post it in the artist forum but I won't if it is taboo to do such a thing.

20. Many artists learn by copying the masters.

As long as you don't claim for it to be the original, it should be alright.

When I was in art school in Boston, one of the classes I took was called "Drawing in the Museum" where went we to the Museum of Fine Arts and drew copies of the paintings...

Here's one I did in Black and white pastel of a Goya painting "Saint Francis of Assisi"...
