23. I forgot that
It been a while since I seen it. I have to get it for my collection it has got to be one of the FUNNIEST movies ever. The best time I ever had watctching it was with my girlfriend who had never seen it before. She was dying by the end and one of the first words out of her mouth was that there is no way anyone would have the courage or be able to make that movie anymore.

25. she is correct!
That movie would run into the PC brick wall. And yet its strongest message (and who says Mel Brooks comedies can't have a message?) was ANTI-racist!

27. Exactly!
They would be probably burned at the stake literally for trying to do it. Mel's movies can have a message especially when he tries his hand at satire which Blazing Saddles has a good dose of.

Yeah, Madeline Kahn was wonderful, i loved her in Young Frankenstein as well. Mel Brooks always had excellents people in his movies. Also, i loved Marty Feldman.

32. One of the most hilarious things I ever read
and its in a book called the "Essential Groucho" is a series of three letters that Groucho wrote to the lawyers at the Warner Brothers studio. It seems since they had made the movie "Cassablanca" they felt that they had a copyright to the name Cassablanca and were upset that the Marx's were making a movie "Night in Cassablanca" Groucho took it upon himself to write the lawyers back answering their queries about the film. These letters are as HILARIOUS as any skit they ever filmed they must be read by any Marx Brothers fan.
