This is for a class I'm taking now. All the programming languages I've worked with in the past were fairly simple to get started, you just downloaded a compiler, installed and you were up. This isn't. I'm getting pissed. So far I've been good working with Java on the school comps but I still can't get it to work on my computer.
So what are some good JDKs and is there anything you can download that has a JDK and the JREs and all that stuff you need configured?

http://java.sun.com/reference/docs/index.htmlor are you talking about something like an IDE for Java ? In this case I used something called JCreator http://www.jcreator.com/-for this though, you have to have the JDK already installed

I'll check the help docs. Hopefully I can get it up by this weekend.
