I've heard them a bit and they didn't strike me as Talking Head-ish. They're playing at a small club here soon - I may go see them. I'll let you know then.

The vocals, the intonations, the song structure.....
Nothing wrong with having a strong influence......
The Talking Heads are a great band.....
When we played out in the late 80's, the TH were a major influence....
I've seen them live three times on TV and they don't reallyu come off that well....
Hope they are better live live.....

There's a certain quality of monotony in both MM and early TH, but other than that, they're not much alike musically or lyrically. (Acutal mileage may vary.)
