Poll question: More awesome Beatles bass line |
|
Come Together, or Taxman?
THERE IS NO OTHER OPTION. IF YOU THINK IT IS ANOTHER SONG, YOU ARE WRONG }(

1. Sorry, it's 'Hey Bulldog' in a walk. |

Followed by the bass break in 'Everybody's Got Something to Hide (Except Me and My Monkey) ;-)

2. Paul McCartney was a genius of the bass |
|
Very melodic, very innovative. I wonder why he never shined in that role in his own band?

8. Most everything off "Abbey Road" |
|
Paul's bass playing on that album was fantastic, especially "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" and "She Came in Through the Bathroom Window"

Or "I Want You (She's So Heavy)".
Although keep in mind some of those killer bass lines from Revolver were really Klaus Voorman, and not Paul.

16. No, it's Lennon's bassline on "The Long and Winding Road," |
|
especially the part where he just slides up a string because he can't remember what chord everybody is playing. :D
"E-flat (dum) D-flat (dum) A-flat (dum) A-flat (dum) G (dum) C (dum)... sliiiiiiiiiiide"
