5. Growing up my brothers and I always watched Rat Patrol
and Combat. My younger brother, the most peaceful man on the planet played army until he was 12. We really loved those shows and grew up to be staunch liberals. Wonder what the right wing would think about TV violence and that?

17. You know me and the kids in my neighborhood
must have killed more Germans and Japanese then have ever been born in the history of man playing WWII in the parks and neighborhoods in the mid 60's.

Not a homicidal maniac in the bunch.

Go figure.

18. I know. When I had my son, I vowed that he would never
play with guns. Well, he made them from legos, sticks, etc. I harken back to when my brothers were young, and especially my younger brother, the biggest pacifist and kindest man on the planet. I am hoping that my boy turns out a little like that.

12. Bringing back fond memories. Only 3 chanels meant QUALITY programming.
When did Batmanbegin its 2 shows a week schedule. It used to be on Tuedays and Thursdays.

Cowboy in Africa was Chuck Conners lame attempt to revitalize his typecasted career.

Ron Ely was a lame Tarzan with perfect language skills.

Beverly Hillbillies, Bewitched, Green Acres, Gomer Pyle, Andy Griffith Show, Get Smart and Hogans Heroes were all comedy classics.

Thank you for posting this!
