Which tax program is good?
I need to do two relatively simple federal tax returns and submit them over the internets. Could anyone recommend a program or service that doesn't cost a lot? Also, if you've used one of the online filing services, did you like it?

Thanks,
LM

allows you to file up to 4 returns via the internet. The price of the Deluxe Edition is 19.95 which includes the State module. Your first Federal filing is free. The price for filing the State is 7.95. For the remaing 3 returns the price is about 15.00. you can check it out here.

2. We've used TaxAct the past few years
via the IRS Web site. Seems to be easy to use and throws up yellow and red flags in problem areas. If I remember correctly it only costs if you file it electronically, around $15-20.

Hope our guys do well in San Antonio tonight w/o Webber and Evans.

from CBS Marketwatch that said something about the IRS letting people do returns for free at their site. Sorry I can't find it but try the IRS site and see if anything is there. It was in conjunction with Intuit (Turbo Tax) and others. I remember it because I had just bought the Turbo Tax program. There was no income restrictions as I recall.
