1. I do, but there aren't enough of us to get together.

Actually, many of the members of my local DFA are DUers, and, now, I see them once a month.

In Houston, PDittie has taken on the role of official DU social director. He sets up the Meetups. The first ones were on Wednesday nights (I think the third Wed). We met at restaurants and hung out a couple hours, had drinks, etc. Once we went across town and merged with the Michale Moore Meetup group, which was the same night.

This month, he changed it to Saturday afternoon, because me, WestHoustonDem, and ChicanoPwr were in New Orleans for the Jazz Funeral during the regularly scheduled time. And we had a great turnout of 15 people! So, I think we are going to stick with Saturdays now.

This time we met at Crescent City and all intro'd ourselves and talked politics over a late lunch/early dinner.
