At the Shubert Theater in New Haven.
It was fucking great! I hope we're all familiar with what this unique experience is about.
For those of you who don't know, the cast is a group of street performers who play music on just about anything they could get their hands on-garbage cans, broomsticks, buckets, stop signs, Zippo lighters, sinks...and they just play music and dance. There is no dialogue or script.
But it's a great experience. I was tapping my feet throughout and in segments the performers made the audience get involved by making us do various clapping exercises.
It's playing in New Haven until Sunday. I know it was on Broadway in NYC for a period of time and now the show tours the country.

1. That's awesome. I saw it in NYC..... |
|
I think pretty early on in it's initial run. Great show. Especially if you're someone who annoys people with tapping and such.

The cast also made an IMAX movie called "Pulse", where they have drumming in cultures around the world. Very cool!
