Ladies: the stupidest thing you've ever done to impress a man
In college I tried to bake a deep dish heart shaped pizza. It was a disaster so he took me out to dinner. :loveya:

8. No, it never was.
And wouldn't you know - when I reclaimed my self-respect and self-esteem, that's when I met my husband? :)

4. My sister tried to sew me a shirt when we were in High School
Edited on Thu Jan-27-05 06:10 PM by happyslug
I know this is aimed at the ladies, but I have to respond.

As to the shirt I tried it on and something was wrong with the buttons.....

For you non-seamstresses out there, men clothes are always right over length, women left over right. She had made the shirt left over right. Once they saw me struggling with the buttons they quickly realized what the problem was. My mother and my older sisters all laughed about it for my sister wanted to show she was as good at sewing as my older sisters were.

11. No.
I still do not care what I wear a long as it is comfortable. I even break down a wear a suit once in a while, mostly when I go to court, the local Judges do not approve of Lawyers comes into their courtrooms wearing BDU pants and a sweat shirt (or should I call them "Hoodies" as my teen age nieces do?). My present girlfriend does comment when I wear my suits when I see her but likes to see me what ever I am wearing.

10. Wore flats so as not to be taller than the guy or his
height. I thought it made me more feminine! BTW I am only 5'6 . I just happened to get involved with guys about 5'8 or so! My husband is 6 feet tall!

15. What one did that impressed me ...
She swallowed the maraschino cherry from her drink, but tied the stem into a knot with her tongue in less than 5 seconds.

I was young.

I married her.

Twelve years later we were divorced.
