DU Handymen/women: My dishwasher isn't working properly
I ran my dishes through three cycles, and the soap tray popped open but the soap didn't dissolve. When I opened the door, the dishes were still wet.

Could it be that the water didn't get hot enough? I did a web search and found little info. Help!

Thanks,
Kathy

1. Do you have the manual?

I had to call a 1-800 number when my dishwasher didn't drain. I found number in the manual. You might look at your plumbing connections first.

2. Tell the kid to get off his ass and stop

watching TV or playing the video game.

Oh, you meant a dishwashing appliance ... never mind.

3. Check obvious stuff
like blocked drain, stuff blocking sprayer holes and something keeping the arm(s) from spinning.

Sometimes you can tell from the sounds if something isn't right. Water temperature could be an issue but you might notice this elsewhere.
