anyone had experience with Bissell carpet cleaners? |
|
Geez. My second Bissell has just stopped working. And I'm right in the middle of moving/cleaning!
The first one was their green machine. This one is an upright cleaner, not cheap.
I've only used it about 8-10 times!
What happens is that the machine starts running very loud -- almost to the point of leaf blower noise level, and then starts running very rough.
Dammit. Dammit.
Next one I buy will be a dirt devil.

... good luck with them. I own an old carpet extractor type machine that I've had since the early 90s, works fine.
Double check wherever you can in the hose or everywhere for that matter for any kind of blockage - 90% of vacuum problems are caused by a damn piece of paper :)

3. Don't buy a Dirt Devil, they don't last but... |
|
I purchased a Hoover with the rinse last spring, love it! I like the fact that I can clean up the soap after cleaning the carpet.

My Dirt Devil one leaks (my Bissell was broken by someone I lent it to.)

Get a Hoover. They cost more but they deep clean much better, because of the different brushes.
