Was purple teletubby a gay icon before Christian right outed him?
With all this talk about "gay" cartoons "corrupting our youth" I was just trying to remember the whole Tinky-winky thing brought on by Jerry Falwell. Didn't Falwell turn Tinky-winky into a gay icon? Does the Christian Right know how ridiculous they are? With all the misery in the world look at what these people chose to rally around. Falwell and his lot are pathetic.
