2. As far as live shows go, I've heard Al Jarreau is one of the best

I've never seen him live, but I've seened tapes of it, and they were incredible.

4. Prince live is awesome
He truly gives his all to his audience. But my favorite live performer is Bruce Springsteen - he is another performer that really connects with his live audiences in a way that very few performers do.

An honorable mention goes to Bette Midler. The sheer amount of energy she puts out during a performance could power a small city for a month.

7. I've never been one of his biggest fans
But I went to his last show, and it was amazing. I don't really get into comparing one good musician to another good musician, it's all so subjective, but I enjoyed his show as much or more than any I've seen.
