1. 61 here. Now I'll shut up.
Though me and my family reside here in Florida, we've had a cold snap this week where we dropped below 20. Yeah, I know. And I've lived in NJ. Now THAT'S cold.

26. That's because you came during the worst weather we;ve had in years.
The past two weeks have been mostly in the seventies, upper forties at night. A little rainy today, it only got up to 65. Oh, dear, what shall I do. I paid my dues in Chicago for the first 27 years of my life. We usually keep our winter stuff up on the mountains, where we can find it when we want to. Yes, the ground shakes sometimes, but I grew up in tornado alley. Every place has its good and bad.

8. My overnight low was -16
What makes this interesting is that the nearest town, Arcade, NY, had an overnight low of -25. That's only 11 miles away from me.

17. The school buses won't start when it's that cold.
They have to put heated fans under the engines. Hence the delay.

20. They will also delay school because of the kids who walk...
when it is so cold. Syracuse City Schools cancelled, because they have a lot of walkers.

21. 2 Degrees, though it is -20 with the WIND CHILL FACTOR
I froze my ass off waiting for the train. I had on my suit, a sweater under my suit jacket, the overcoat, gloves, ear muffs, wool watch cap, two scarfs and I was still freezing.

25. Salvation is near, though, isn't it?
Here in Toronto it's up to 16F, by far the warmest it's been in over a week, and over the weekend it's supposed to get into the 20's perhaps hitting the freezing point by Wednesday. Hopefully this warm weather system will be hitting y'all as well.
