Geez...I think my "Good Samaritan" deed back-fired!
I was at the local gas station last night and there happen to be a Gentleman trying to persuade the clerk to let him get 5.00 worth of fuel. The Guy (Gentleman) was dressed nice and said that he had forgotten his wallet this morning and just needed enough fuel to get home cause his car was empty. He even offered to leave his registration and title to assure the clerk that he would be back.
Well, the clerk said no so I cut in and said "I'll give you 5 bucks"
The guy thanked me and all that and I felt nice cause I had done a good thing...Right!

Christ..on the way home my left headlight burns out.
I get home turn on my Sony Laptop..it starts than the memory goes out. (I'm a tech)
This morning I wake up and find that the faucet outside is leaking (Bad!) all over the yard and now ...dammit..I can't find my wallet.

The next time somebody is in trouble I'm just gonna' walk on by.
(Awww..No, I won't....)

1. He was obviously the devil, and you just made a deal with him unknowingly

2. This is obvious, but
No good deed goes unpunished.

5. Have you considered . . .
Maybe instead of the three things that *did* happen to you, three much worse things might've happened, but for your good deed giving you some good karma?

Instead of a burned out headlight, a wreck?
Instead of bad memory on your laptop, you accidentally drop it and break it beyond repair?

I mean, maybe your good deed *did* work in your favor?
