Ever built an infared sauna?

How difficult was it? What type of wood did you use?
I've read that cedar is good *unless* you cannot tolerate
the smell.

Also spruce is not good due to the wood heating up
plus the resin drips.

What wood does not heat up and does not drip?

And what kind or brand of heater is the most
reliable? Most efficient energy-wise?

1. The only sauna I've used was cedar...

...we used an old woodstove...worked great.
