Many here are very happy that a whole separate forum has been set up for sports. Upon analyzing the sports forum, many of you are happy because all the Super Bowl hype threads are in there, and not in here. Many of you, I am sure, will by next Sunday be ready to remove your own eyes with a soldering iron after yet another week of Super Bowl hype.

Well, let me give you a reason to be interested in the game. The reason is, in fact, a genuine Lounge-based phenomenon that started right here in this forum.

Waaaaaay back last summer, I made a bet with DUer LynneSin. The bet was simplicity itself. If her beloved Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl, I would travel to her home and appear at a party dressed in a bunny suit. Not wee little bunny ears and a cotton tail. A bunny suit. Like so:



Lynne's beloved Eagles have, in fact, made it to the Super Bowl after decades of ignominious failure. Now, the drama here is that my own New England Patriots have also made it to the Super Bowl.

So if the Eagles win, I am wearing the bunny suit, and there will be pictures for all the Lounge to see.

If the Eagles lose, however, it shall be LynneSin in the bunny suit. I repeat:



So if you need a reason to pay attention to the Super Bowl this year, now you have it. And yes, I intend to keep this thread kicked until the big night, only nine days away.



The question for you non-sports Lounge folks is this: Who do you want to see in the suit?

If you want to see me in the bunny suit, you have to root for the Eagles next week.

If you want to see Lynne in the bunny suit, you have to root for the Patriots next week.

Isn't it fun to be a sports fan?

There will be fine tequila served by the person in the Bunny Suit. And yes, the loser will travel to the winners hometown although if Will is coming to my neck of the woods we'll actually be doing it in Philadelphia, not Wilmington.

Also there will be Febreeze involved. I'm sure bottles will be handed out to those in attendance to squirt on the bunny.

The bet will probably be paid off sometime in the Spring - I know I'm booked through March with vacation and other obligations. Plus in the Spring hopefully it'll be good travelling weather so other DUers can come to Bunny-town and enjoy in the festivities.

Finally - my assshot was paid in full. Picture was removed after it was linked to a conservative website (actually it was replaced with a George Bush wanted poster).
