Tell me your deep dark secret... |
|
Me? I watch my neighbor walk across the parking lot with lust in my eyes. This is my only character flaw, I swear!
(Sorry, every time I tried to write "I swear" above, it came out as "I sweat" lol)

That I won't share here even though as far as I know, no one here knows the true identity of Nikia. I have just started counseling and had planned to tell the counselor everything, but she just seems too nice. The first session just touched on things that I'd tell any aquaintance anyway. I am more comfortable telling friends deep dark secrets once they have told me something equivalent or worse. I know that this isn't going to happen with the counselor so I need to get over this. Maybe the stuff isn't any worse than stuff than other Duers have shared in the past. I am just extremely judgemental of myself and think other people are that judgemental of me as well.

6. I agree, it's hard to tell counsellors stuff... |
|
Because it's an unequal relationship. They hear your "bad" but you don't hear theirs.
THink of it this way. All people go into being therapists because they are trying to figure out something about themselves, and often it is something weird. So if you can think of your consellor as having some deep dark secret they are not sharing, maybe it will make it easier.

11. My entire life I've struggled with the idea that I'm just not good enough. |
|
There's no reason -- my parents have always been enouraging my whole life; my friends, my lovers.... Nobody's ever said anything to me to make me feel this way, I just do.
I simply don't trust myself not to fuck things up.

Unless you knew my reasons for wanting to be rich and famous, muahahahaha.

it would no longer be a secret if I shared it on a public messageboard, so, no.
I'm not even going to say whether I HAVE a deep, dark secret!

21. My deep, dark secret.... |
|
Is that I'm an immensely boring person without anything that could probably qualify as a deep, dark secret. I have had such a dull, boring life is probably the only way to put it. I'm not trying to be down on myself. It's just pretty much the truth. Anytime, I try to insert an interesting experience into it, it doesn't work out for whatever reason, so I should just learn to accept things for what they are.

23. My only excitement are troubles. |
|
I just have nothing pleasurable or interesting. Not whining, it's just the way things were meant to be for whatever reason I guess. Acceptance is the first step in facing what someone has to face sometimes.
