Discuss.

Remember "Going back to Cali" "SHe took me to the beach, she gave me a peach"

Mama said knock you out was his only good tune and even then. "I might go blao, how you like me now?"

What the fuck is "Blao?"

9. Do SELF-PORTRAIT and LIVE AT BUDOKAN negate all of Bob Dylan's other work?
Edited on Sat Jan-29-05 03:18 PM by NightTrain
Those are easeily Dylan's two worst albums (at least before his artistic decline of the '80s and early '90s). Does their badness negate BLONDE ON BLONDE, HIGHWAY 61 REVISITED, BLOOD ON THE TRACKS, and ANOTHER SIDE OF BOB DYLAN?

3. "Blao" means to explode on somebody.
Like if I were to say "HEyHEY is the biggest douche bag in the world!" you would then go "Blao" and start hitting me.

Then I would kick your ass.

I like his early stuff because it's true rap - braggin' and boasting about his skills. Not so sexualized. And he sure ha grown up into somethin' nice to look at <drool> ...

5. I think he's hot too

One funny thing, though, was his Mama Said Knock You Out video. One of my friends noticed (back when it came out) that you could see deodorant balls hanging off his armpit hairs, heh heh! B-)

Unless it later got edited out, it's plain as day if you know to look for it.

LL's "Radio" is one of my favorite albums of all time. "Rock The Bells" (an early fusion of hip-hop and heavy metal) ,"I Can't Live Without My Radio," "You Can't Dance...." All great songs, baby! If you've never heard "Radio," I strongly suggest you check it out some time. It came out in 1985.

No fucking way is LL Cool J the worst rapper of all time! Not even close.

12. ROCK THE BELLS! but then again, I Am an Around the Way Girl.......
You can break hearts and manipulate minds
Or surrender act tender be gentle and kind
You always know what to say and do
Cold flip when you think your man is playing you
Not cheap but petty
You’re ready for loving
You’re real independent so your parents be bugging
But if you ever need a place to stay
(oooh you love me)
Come around my way

or worth listening to, regardless.

It will inevitably go the way of Disco.

*Every* "rapper" is the "worst rapper" of all time.

18. "It will inevitably go the way of Disco."
In other words:

Despite the sneering of stuffy, uptight elitists who think white-bread singer-songwriters are the epitome of great music, rap (like disco) will profoundly influence countless generations of singers, songwriters and musicians--some great, some good, some mediocre, and some downright awful.

"rap" is the only musical form ever created by African Americans?

Neither "rap" nor "disco" will ever influence anyone 50 years from now.

"Motown" will, however.

Then rewrote it by trying to turn his act into a 'metal' show.

As the drunk barber used to say "The bottle says, wiser's cause you always are after drinking it."

My other favourite is the Irish Rovers take on responsible drinking.

"When I wake up the next day, I usually find out I'm responsible for a lot things."

27. I want a girl with extentions in her hair,
Bamboo earrings, at least two pair,
A Fendi bag and a bad attitude.
That's all I need to get me in a good mood.
She can walk with a switch and talk with street slang,
I love it when a woman ain't scared to do her thing.
Standin' at the bus stop, suckin' on a lollipop,
Once she gets pumpin' it's hard to make the hottie stop.
She likes to dance to the rap jams.
She's sweet as brown sugar with candied yams.
Honey-coated complexion, using Camay,
Let's hear it for the girl, she's from around the way.

Take THAT, you old white guy from Canada.

Don't dis Mr. Smith, buddy. Don't never, never pull his lever -- 'cause he'll explode.
