It's a done deal, apparently.

2. Good riddance...
You colossal, egotistical, aging superstar diva. Hope the O's like a .250 BA, 30 HR, 80 RBI, and 150 Ks a year from their projected cleanup hitter.

6. hell yeah!
Get rid of him, his ego, and the bad karma from using roids and corked bats.

Can we get a left handed replacement too? Maybe use some of the cash we'll be saving (we're still saving $7 million even though $10 million of his contract will be payed by the Cubs) can buy a good reliever too.

4. He became egotistical and thought it was all about him
Well, let him be that way in Baltimore.

The Cubs need a TEAM to win a world series and Sammy's ego was in the way.

Guess I need to get a new baseball jersey. It had gotten to the point where I didn't feel comfortable wearing the Sammy jersey anyway. he ceased being a mensch, if he ever really was one in the first place.

5. Back in December
I burned my Sosa jersey in protest. Wasn't a waste of money really, it was gift from a friend who's not a friend anymore, so I didn't feel too bad about it. :D
