Those of you complaining about the snow... look what happens.

Everyone else is getting snow and cold temperatures. Here, where I'm surrounded by sled dogs, nothing.

It's like some kind of banana belt this winter. We've had one good sledding day.

So for the past few weeks it had been dogs waking up, saying to themselves "Hmm, we're not going sledding? Ah, well... let's see, what to destroy today?"

Finally, I found the solution to hold their interest until the snow hits:

my recently-adopted dog looks similar but I can't figure out what she is, exactly.

I got a dog training video that I put on the other night and she whined until I let her out of her crate and let her sit in front of the TV and watch it! And then I thought, how cool, just let her watch the video to learn the tricks, she was so interested in it.

He's smarter than most people I know.
And understands English better than alot of the inbreds around Indy, too.

Yeah, smart is right. I've never dealt with this breed before.

The head is definitely not a blue heeler, since the ears flop down (my dog).

How likely is it for a mix breed dog to look exactly like another mix? I swear this must be my dog's litter mate.

5. Is that a Basset?

The legs and the tail look about right but the ears look a little short. Also I've never seen a Basset with spots before. I love Bassets! Hence my DU name.
