chose whether or not to just rinse or fully wash the dishes after the meal, and have full domain over the remote control (if you have one). These are not not a match for the loss... but perhaps are a few minor plusses that you can wallow in while you work towards healing. Good luck -and best wishes.

6. yes, here's a pointer...have at anything (passable) that comes your way |

I'm sure you've noticed, when you're attached, women in general are more receptive to you.
When you've just broken up, there is that residual vibe, plus the "poor guy who's just had his heart broken" sympathy vote.
However, after a month, you're just another patheitic single guy. Trust me, you don't want to fall into that trap. So, get a rebound boink under your belt while the iron's still hot.
And, my sympathies on the didintegration of your relationship.

lonely.
You will learn to appreciate solitude, peace, and silence. And when you've had enough of all that, you invite someone over or go out to socialize.
Have you ever lived alone before? Like having a single room at college, being an only child, lived alone before you were hooked up?

10. Get back to knowing yourself again. That's a tough thing to do sometimes. |

And I don't think many people do it before jumping into another relationship. I spent two years as my own best friend before meeting MrG (again). I think that is what has helped me be a better wife..a better person... Hugs to you, Laura

You take care of it naturally. No need to rush. But don't feel you have to wait. The biggest hurdle is just looking forward.

12. How is it on the whole? |
|
I have a friend who's newly single and enjoying the solitude. She says it's just like when she was married, without the pressure. She wasn't home that much anyway, and now she's not feeling like she *should* be home. Any good feelings?
