I heard once that there are no carbs in vodka. Myth?

I'm not being snarky--but if you're watching your carbs everywhere else, does it make that much of a difference if you have a regular Coke, or a beer?

Drinking isn't good for you to do too much anyway--the carb count is like, the least of the health issues!

To answer your question though, vodka, gin, and tequila have no carbs. But you have to watch what you mix them with.

5. Alchohol triggers production of insulin
while certain drinks don't have carbs, they'll cost you in insulin production.

Remember, it's not the number of carbs, it's staying in ketosis, that's why you have to avoid hydrogenated oils as well...
