Would you pay $2000.00 per night,(3 night min)for Superbowl? |
|
The Boston Globe today has about 4 columns of ads for lodging in Jacsonville. The prices are appalling.
One nifty little deal has 5 nights lodging and 2 tickets for ONLY $12.000.00 and it's 50 minutes(they say) from the stadium.
Is it me or have we all gone mad?
Go Pats!

1. I wouldn't pay $50 for a ticket to see any pro sporting event |
|
I stopped supporting pro sports about 7 years ago and have not purchased one ticket to a pro event in all that time.

2. I wouldn't pay a wooden nickel to go to the Superbowl. |
|
Or any other pro sports event, for that matter, except maybe a few bucks for the World Series as long as the Yankees aren't in it.

I love the Pats but there's a better view of the game on TV.
Jacksonville is not one of the most picturesque areas of Florida either...

Do I have the money to shell out that kind of cash for a sporting event?
No. And I can think of better things if I did have the money.
