2. Pretty good music

Been a fan since the early 90's. My wife and I went to a concert of theirs on our first date. They are a great live act.

I think their earlier work is their best mostly because they spend so much time working on children's music. They could write a good lyric such as Park Avenue/Tyson and did some fine work covering great songs such as Michael Smith's Dead Egyptian Blues, or Emily Kaitz's Day the Bass Players took over the world.

3. Fuck the band

I am a fan of the guy that wrote the book.

Know who he is?



It's this guy.

Reading his books in my late teens and early twenties opened me up forever.

I'm 50 now, and he still gives me joy like no other author.

His name is Richard Brautigan, and he didn't make albums, he wrote great books.

BUT, I am also going out and check out the band.

With a name like that, they have to have something going on.
