"Monday" dinner (in New Orleans) on the stove .. red beans and rice.
Been cooking all afternoon. Smells great! It will all come together tomorrow, the traditional day for red beans and rice in New Orleans. My pile of beans and rice, with andouille sausage, will be topped with squirts of Bean-O.

3. Nope. I sliced and diced a quarter pound of Smithfield ham in it.
Tomorrow, I will serve it on rice with smoked Andoille sausage. Lick chops!

6. Sounds good!
Sounds biblical, too. Maybe it is Eve's spare rib. Eh? Or was it Adam's? What are you having tonight? Pork ribs? Beef ribs? Either way, my mouth waters.

7. Not sure...our neighbor cooked them and brought us a batch
Probably pork but I'm not certain. Also an odd rice dish and some breadsticks. They know how to cook so I give them the benefit of he doubt.
