Who remembers the show Real People? |
|
I always tried to watch it every week when it was on, when I was a kid.
Followed up with John Davidson on "That's Incredible!"(though I think that was a different night, at least in the later years).
Real People I thought was a really cool show. Who was on it? Was that Fred Willard? And I can't remember the women at all.

Yes, I remember that show.
And for some reason, I just thought of PM Magazine also.

Yep, I remember it well, they had Fred Willard, Sarah Purcell, and Byron something or another. "That's Incredible!" was a weekly watcher as well.

I liked that show as a tyke. That was back in the day of Sonny and Cher, Hulk, 6 million dollar Man, Bionic Woman...those were the days. Now we have such fluff on television....LOL.

8. Did anyone see the "That's Incredible" show with 3-D video? |
|
I remember watching 3-D on that show without special glasses. It was a new computerized technique that could reprocess regular video tape. I know it works because I actually saw the 3-D effect with my own eyes so why hasn't this technology been ubiquitous on television by now?

I sent in a headline from our local paper, and it got on the show.
"Drug and Bugle Corps Goes To Madison." :D

Sarah Purcell and Skip something or the other.
It was what I now call "pre-reality" TV. From the pre-cable days of the later Carter years.

13. I remember that show. |

I remember the name of the one guy, Skip Stevenson. Sara Purcell (sp?) was the woman's name, I think. It was a cool show. Some obscure channel on DirectTV a few years ago ran reruns.
