Which decade do you hate more?

I was born in 1979. So I lived through the 80's in their entirety.

8. Born in the sixties....

The eighties were crappy.
We've seen nothing yet. This will likely be the shittiest decade you'll live through.
Of course, history won't judge us... we'll all be dead.

4. The 90's were pretty bad...

I, and thousands of others observed an alarming increase in corruption. If anyone recalls, even the FBI was under investigation for corruption, but when 9/11 hit, those investigations ceased and the FBI were given more power. It seems the mid-nineties were "the beginning of the end" of America as we know it...

The 80's were great for me, I was a teenager enjoying the hell out of life.

7. The 80s REALLY sucked.

Reagan and Thatcher (both mad) threatening to end the world in a nuclear disaster, yuppies, "greed is good", state-sanctioned selfishness, fucking awful music...

11. The 80s were by far the decade I disliked the most

If I was a bit younger this decade might be worse, but I am at the age where my life is what it is and all expectations are out the door.
I liked the 90s the best so far. Of course, generalizing by decades can be a bit tough.

13. If we're speaking of politics, I wasn't as informed back then as I am now.

Although I was informed enough to vote AGAINST Ronald Reagan and Daddy Bush.

But I came of age in the 80s. I turned 18 and graduated high school in 1984. I had some fun times, a lot of struggles, my first child, and made a lot of mistakes. I'm not going to knock the 80s, but I wouldn't want to go back there.

At least Iran-Contra got coverage... if only Bush hadn't won in '88 - all those folks would have been in jail instead of pardoned.

17. 00's Worst Decade Ever!

In my lifetime at least. The past four years have taken a terrible toll on my mental health, financial burden, losing lots of friends, disassociated with family members, lots of heartache and loneliness.

We are truly a nation divided and we won't survive. I fear I will not live to see *'s reign of terror end.
