At my high school, we had to wear uniforms. On the day before Christmas break, we'd have this big assembly where we'd all go to the gym and watch various christmas contests (beard growing contest results, skits, the band, the cheerleaders, etc.) and reveal how much money we collected to help our christmas sponsored families. ANYWAY, one of the big games was the tug of war tournament. The different teams would sign up and they'd dress like a theme. One year the soccer players (?) decided to do Braveheart and so they borrowed the girls plaid uniform skirts. And dammit, they looked amazing.

I went to see La Mala Educacion and I remembered reading that Almodovar chose Gael Garcia Bernal because he looked equally as good as a woman and as a man. He wasn't kidding. He's prettier than I am!
