E_Zapata. LOL! I was hearing too many crickets chirping.
What does it mean to say a card is "reversed"? I didn't get that from the web site. I don't know anything about tarot; it's just fun.

that a card means one thing in an upright position and the opposite in a reversed position.

and I know some people who are really into it.
One bright lady doesn't even pay attention to the 'reversed' issue. Another woman banks on it.
But it just kind of takes the opposite tact of what the card upright would mean.
So if a card says: takes risks! Reversed would mean you have or are going to take unnecessary risks, and to perhaps play things more cautiously.
Or if a card upright means (like the one I got today) you are in a time of great abandonment, loneliness, perhaps depression, then reversed it can mean that you are coming OUT of that period (and are all the wiser for it). So, upright might mean to do the inner work that the life lesson is trying to teach you...do the visceral work. And reversed might mean that you have accomplished the visceral stuff and give yourself a big pat on the back. (Mine wasn't reversed. :-( but that's okay)
So it doesn't give a card a negative energy, it just tweaks the original card meaning in another direction.
Did you click on the "find out more about this card in this position" where it takes you to a new page telling you what that card means in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd position? That made it all make more sense.
and a lot of tarot readers seem to think that the type of person that is in a card you draw represents someone in your life or someone coming into your life with that description. So, a male with light hair with a fiery spirit (a leo?) or a dark complected woman, older with a quiet wisdom about her (a scorpio or pisces?). Who knows?

That's a fun one.
Exhaustive explanations for the individual cards and even a lot on the reversed meanings. Looks like a compilation of a lot of people's input on how they interpret the cards.
