I long to see you in the morning light,
God I love fuckin Nashville Skyline, Thanks Bobby D, you're helping me get through this tough loss.
Lay, lady, lay, lay across my big brass bed
Lay, lady, lay, lay across my big brass bed
Whatever colors you have in your mind
I’ll show them to you and you’ll see them shine

Lay, lady, lay, lay across my big brass bed
Stay, lady, stay, stay with your man awhile
Until the break of day, let me see you make him smile
His clothes are dirty but his hands are clean
And you’re the best thing that he’s ever seen

Stay, lady, stay, stay with your man awhile
Why wait any longer for the world to begin
You can have your cake and eat it too
Why wait any longer for the one you love
When he’s standing in front of you

Lay, lady, lay, lay across my big brass bed
Stay, lady, stay, stay while the night is still ahead
I long to see you in the morning light
I long to reach for you in the night
Stay, lady, stay, stay while the night is still ahead

3. It's Heresy to Say It
but I believe that's my favorite Dylan album. Anger can get tiring after a few songs. I think my fave is Tonight I'll be Staying Here With You. I also like the version of Girl from the North Country, warts and all.

7. I Like Traditional Country
They have some good bluegrass programs on local public radio. And the soundtrack to Oh Brother Where Art Thou? Wonderful.

9. Modern Country is So Suburban
It's the worst of both worlds. It seems to have no authentic performers from poor backgrounds any longer who have paid their dues. More like Britney Spears with a cowboy hat.

And who writes all those tuneless songs?

10. It is
Probably why so many of the people my age like it more now, and why I don't like it. Yes Brit Spears in a cowboy hat describes it well.

11. Thanks Kleeb for remaining us how
much different songs can mean to us at different times...

And for giving me a chance to once again promote the DU Bob Dylan Group.
