Despite what some people - check that, *many* people - on DU might think, Republicans are not intrinsically evil or even unpleasant simply because of their political affiliation. If she's reasonably intelligent, has a good personality, and seems free of most of the odious "qualities" that define the stereotypical supporter of the Brotherhood of the Golden Elephant Calf, then there's no reason that her being a Republican should put you off.

On the other hand, if you're just crushing on her because she's hot, then chalk it up to blue balls and pursue someone else. To quote Marlon Brando, figuring for weight and age, all dolls are the same.

Well. I really think she is pretty but she is a nice person, has a good sense of humor, and is nice to talk to in class. I agree that no one is evil just because of their affilation, many people I really consider myself good friends with are republicans but respect my views and knowledge a lot.
