Just happened I was at the other end of my comfort travelling zone tonight, thought I would stop at a favorite Italian restaurant that I frequented several years ago. So disappointed! Their white clam sauce was always mouth watering, tonight, they don't serve it anymore. The bread was delicious, their shrimp scampi needs improving. Years ago when frequenting the rest., there was a line out the door by 5:00, almost empy rest. at that time tonight.

3. Their linquini and clam sauce was the greatest |
|
It probably was 4 or five years ago since I last frequented that restuarant but that is my happy memory from them. No one has ever made linquini like this since. I was heartbroken.
For those of you that have knowledge of seafood, is there a problem with clams?

2. Sometimes a really good restaurant loses the chef who made it so. |
|
And the fact of the matter is, the food is never any better than the cook who makes it.
