I think I'm finally going to finish painting my basement ceiling. Of course, I might just post in DU all weekend.

What about you?

2. Taking the kids to Chicago for the day
Our family membership to the Shedd aquarium expires Monday, we need to go there once more before we have to pay like $95 to get everyone in ...

It was actually cheaper to get a family membership than it was to pay everyone's admission, and we got to go back for a whole year. It's a pretty cool place.

Edited on Fri Feb-25-05 11:25 PM by JimmyJazz
well -- if you change "finish painting basement" to "cleaning house" and "posting on DU" to "playing with my kids." - Otherwise, we're doing exactly the same thing! :bounce:

11. Did you have an Orthopaedic injury?
I broke my ankle a few years ago. Not much fun: Lots of pain meds, dangerous to move about on snow and ice.

31. Go slow. Do all of your PT. You'll need PT from now on.
I broke my ankle. Plate w/ 5 screws + 2 big screws thru front and left inside of ankle. My dad was an Orthopaedic and my mums a PT. Take it easy. Do all the exercises. Keep doing them (for the rest of you life so you don't get stiff.) You'll be OK. Do lots of flexibility exercises. Good luck.

I'm sitting here right now with a big dollop of that menthol glop rubbed into my elbow under a compression sleeve...Don't know what to do for my hands...

All week long, pulling, cutting, and teminationg video, audio, and VGA cables...My hands will barely function.

Probably break half the dishes in the sink trying to wash them tomorrow. Overhauling those wheels is gonna be fun, too....

And moday morning I get to go wreck my hands again! All for 36 kilobucks a year! Woo-Hoo!

24. My brother and nephew are coming to visit
They're bringing down a washer and dryer for me and a fridge for my best friend in my brother's truck. It'll be the first time my 6 year old nephew has ever visited me in Austin. I'm really looking forward to seeing both of my boys. :) I just finished making a batch of my brother's favorite cookies as a thank you present for him shlepping appliances down here. :)

27. Fun Fair at my kids school.
6th grade son has basketball game at 8:00 am (I better get to bed)which I will take him to. It should be done by 8:50. I am one of the Fun Fair coordinators so I will go there right after basketball game. I will be there probably until 4:00. Then after all the fun is over I will take my giant headache home to my messy house. Hubby will stay home with 2 1/2 year old. Sound like fun????

35. My plan.
Edited on Sat Feb-26-05 01:25 PM by SarahBelle
Was to work a 12 hour night shift Friday, come home and sleep for at least six hours, chill for a little while, shower and get ready, then go back to work for another 12 hour night shift tonight.

Unfortunately, someone woke me up after less than 4 hours of sleep because he locked his damned keys in the car at the grocery store, so I had to get up and go there with my spare. Now I can't get back to sleep. :grr:
