I am officially leaving DU, sorry to say.
I'm really sorry it's come to this, but I simply must go get paint samples and shop for antiques.

And I have been given a directive by my family not to get on the computer again today.

Or tomorrow.

:scared:

So I bid you adieu (how the fuck do you spell that?) you troop bashing Commie pinko satan worshipping 'Merica hatin' LIBERALS.

Just go.....DU yourselves!!!!

7. I'm about to go spit on my husband and call him a baby killer.
Then he's gonna call me a "dirty hippie." We love role playing.

(Oh God I'm in such an absurd mood.)

bumper sticker. I intentionally get in front of people with bush stickers on their cars so they can see it. It's hard to miss, too. Ginormous and at eye level.

17. OMG I laughed so hard when I read that.
I still want the shirt that has a picture of bush's face (he has a particularly stupid expression) and it says "Can you BELIEVE this SHIT?" under it.

God I love that shirt.

11. I know, it sucks.
But we are re-doing The Child's room. Two walls are to be painted blue, two walls green (light colors), then new bed, nightstand, etc.

She's 10. I told her this re-do has to last until she moves out.

Well good luck with that.

My daughter redid her room about every 6 months. Of course, she was good at gathering things from around the house to create whatever new look she was after, and worked for most of her teen years, and wasn't afraid of the dollar store.

Wait until she grows up and ropes you into redoing HER house. It never ends, it really doesn't! Now we've got a grandbaby room to redo and she is after me to knit a blankie. I haven't knitted anything in 15 years. If I don't start soon, it'll be a great-grandbaby blankie!

The room sounds beautiful and enjoy those adoring eyes before they become permanently implanted in the tops of her sockets, especially any time you think you have a creative idea. Likey such:

:eyes:

The teen years.

26. Just wait until she is thirteen
she will want it something else. I lived and survived two teenagers. Any parent who survives teenage years should be given an award.
