After 6 Drunken Driving Convictions, Former Wis. Woman Was Still Driving

This woman put her daughter into an institution with brain damage, after she crashed on her SEVENTH DUI.

How many times did she drive drunk and wasn't caught?

She's serving 9 years now for her 7th DUI.

So why did she STILL have a valid IL driver's license? :eyes:

1. Should have had it taken the first time, and given the option of rehab
or serve a sentence of attempted murder.

We're too goddamned easy on drunk drivers. In my book, you get one chance. It's INSANELY EASY not to drive drunk. There is no excuse for driving drunk. If I had my way, you get caught for DUI - you lose your license forever. That's it. Gone. And you get tried for attempted murder. And you can also never own a vehicle again.

DUI is simply too dangerous - too many people on the roads. And driving under the influence means you are a parasite and a stain on society that doesn't give a damn about other people, so there's no reason for you to be out there anyway.

After the second DUI (which you would be doing without a license), you spend a LOT of time in jail, but at some kind of rehab/vocational jail in which they put you to work making stuff and get you off the addiction and teach you not to be a parasite and a stain on society.

a guy who works with me sometimes is a habitual offender. i think he's had three dui's in the last two years, spent some time in jail, like 90 days each time, but he still drives around! legally!

a few years ago, a drunk woman hit and killed a pedestrian. NOTHING was done about it!!!!!!!!
