Alas, I could find neither a clip nor the text online.
Basically, he conflates the antics of the more decadent Roman emperors with scheduled events of the upcoming "festivities." Special emphasis on Caligula....
Another of those Colbert sketches wherein this reserved, erudite gentleman goes into a hallucinatory frenzy. Always ended with a nod & the word "Jon"--as Jon Stewart's eyes bug out & he wonders "How can I follow that?"
